anyone have any luck getting this to work with smstools3 ? when i try to sendsms to /dev/cuaU3 my system locks up and I have to reboot.

Resolved… I had a bad USB controller, replaced with a new PCI Controller and card is detected thanks Fredrik

I have an option icon 322 and dmesg gives the following output when its inserted,

Hello, i’m sopheak. before i used pfsense release 1.2.3 not support 3g modem but now i just to know that pfsense 2.0 have 3g modem so i have 3g modem bandluxe C100 and C170. how to use with pfsense and the FreeBSD are support my modem like this model?

For the Norwegians out there, you might want to join the group “Ja til åpen IPTV-standard fra Altibox!” at Facebook. Together we might be able to push the IPTV providers in the right direction. Currently, all the channels are being encrypted in Norway, including NRK.

Still working, Telia have updated some of the channels so new ipadresses are used. Some HD-channels work. Havent found all Viasat channels tho.

I am using Huawei Edge USB modem(EG162G). I am able to recieve and send sms from SIM. But not able to do that with Modem memory. I am selecting Phone Memory using AT commands then issueing follwing commands
First selecting Phone memory, like this
AT+CPMS=ME
OK
and then giving following command
AT+CMGL=ALL
OK

But messages are not reading from GSM Memory
